I can't remember MacArthur Park that well. Is it a racy song or something? Or are you just embarrassed to be listening to DISCO?
I laughed at Copa Cabana. We sing that to our dog, Lola. For obvious reasons.
Oh...I've been listening to a lot of Donna Summer too lately, MacArthurs Park being one of them :)
It's the disco thing.....you have to understand, in the late '70's, I was into The Sex Pistols, The early punk phenom! Black Flasg, the Who, both in their Mod stage and later sorta punk saorta rock stage! I was also into wizard rock as well! You just didn't admit you liked disco without attracting "Girly-man" comments!
oh my...that must have been like living with two different personalities...lol
It was! :P
I like ALL of those songs... I'm not embarrassed to say so. Oh, and I like "afternoon delight" by the starland vocal band too. So there.
