A New Resource! The Cycle People!

I just came across this site. It looks to be a very interesting resource in form of a catch all search resource for cycling holidays, shops and everything. As you know, if you read me regularly, cycle touring is one of my things, and a bicycle vacation, to me, is the ultimate! I'll be looking into perhaps using them myself for a trip. I'm going to be exploring the site to see what all they do offer, but their global cycle tour resources really caught my eye! I've also added a permanent link in my resources section below.

Mapping tool for planning Cycling Events

I've been using Map My Ride, lately! It has a lot of great options, including "Follow Roads.

Here's an example of the maps it generates and it even has a way to view it with Google Earth!

3000 Miles to fight Obesity! Seth Margolies

Seth was in much the same boat as I was. Fritz, over at Cycle-liscious first brought this story to my attention. Meet Seth Margolies, a fellow post bariatric cyclist.

Seth is riding from Coast to coast on the Southern Tier route If you see him out there, wish him luck. GO SETH!
